A brilliant afternoon was had by all, as Tylney Road between Capel Road (Wanstead Flats) and Godwin Road (Forest Gate Hotel) was closed between the hours of 1pm and 3.30pm on Sunday 25 January 2015.Loads of kids (of all ages) came down and played in the street, just like we used to do when we were kids. They were out on their bikes, roller skates and scooters, writing in the road with chalk, running around with balloons from BoBo the Balloon Man, spinning hoops and enjoying the bucket loads of hot chocolate and tray bakes.
